This painting was done for "Conan and the Shadow of the Sorcerer" by Modiphius Entertainment.

I don't NEED a reason to pull out my replica sword, but this was a good reason. Some of my reference photos.

Adding color!

I started by refining the background, adding texture and a little something at the right to help keep the eye in the image.

Detailing the hands and the sword.

More refinement. Notably, I moved the ring on the sword grip. I realized that it muddied the silhouette of the hand, but also didn't make sense compared to the size of the hand.

Finishing touches. Done!
